Greetings from Pastor Brandon!

I have been following the life of the great Apostle Paul for the last few weeks and currently working through his letter to the churches in Galatia. If nothing else, the book of Galatians has been an eye opener. There was so much false teaching being done and it was effective! Paul had taught them the freedom that is found in Christ and false teachers came in behind and put them back in to spiritual prison. What kind of spiritual prison you ask? The Jesus plus something prison. You see, our salvation and righteousness are based off of something called the 5 Solas. They are scripture alone, Christ alone, faith alone, grace alone, and glory to God alone. So our salvation and righteousness is by faith alone, through Christ alone, by grace alone, through scripture alone, and all for the glory of God alone. Anything else added in is false. When we repent of our sins and submit our lives to God, we’re saved. We don’t need to do anything else! Jesus’s blood has made us righteous in the sight of God. Saints to be exact! Yes there will be works of the flesh but it will be because of our faith and not the cause of it. I’ve asked these questions during service as I ask now. Are you being deceived? We have the truth of scripture but what kind of teaching and manipulating of scripture is being thrown at us? Are you falling for it? We always want to be in control but guess what? You’re not and never will be. And that’s a good thing! I am so thankful for the love of Christ!

You’re brother in Christ, Pastor Brandon A. Dupuis
